Sovereign Grace Church is part of a growing family of churches called Sovereign Grace Ministries.

Sovereign Grace Ministries is a family of churches passionate about advancing the Great Commission through church planting. In support of that mission Sovereign Grace facilitates partnerships among pastors, operates a Pastors College, hosts events, and publishes books, music, and other resources.

Beliefs: We are evangelical, Reformed, and charismatic (read more).

• Size: Our family includes about 90 churches. Most of them are in the U.S., with some in Canada, Mexico, Bolivia, western Europe, eastern Africa, eastern Asia, and Australia. In all, we partner to varying degrees with pastors and church-planting networks in 21 countries.
• Origins: Sovereign Grace Ministries was founded in 1982 out of Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We were originally known as People of Destiny International, but changed the name to Sovereign Grace Ministries in 2003.
